J&J Hamilton Plant Transport & Crane Hire Ltd. Has been established since 2021 after the purchase of P. Carter Plant Hire Ltd in order to expand and develop the business in a more dynamic and enthusiastic way. Specialising in HIAB hire for the transportation of goods which could include palletised goods, containers (up to 20ft), plant machinery, and much, much more. If it can be transported and we can haul it, we will!
Based in Chesterfield, Derbyshire, just a few minutes from the M1, we have excellent links to the motorway, providing a nationwide pick-up and delivery service.
We are a professional service with our small team of fully qualified ALLMI Lorry Loaders. Although we are recently established in the UK, we have 10 years of international logistical experience.
James is the face of the company and the first person you will meet.
With 10 years of military experience behind him, and an abundance of life skills from seeing service in some of the World’s hotspots, James is more than up for any job that he takes on. He prides himself on a good work ethic, is always polite to customers and ensures the job is done to the very end.
Upon leaving the military James went looking for a new challenge to excite him and found it in the Plant Transport and Crane Hire world. He knew Pete from P. Carter Plant Hire Company and after doing a few jobs for him knew that the company was a going concern, so he decided to purchase it and develop it further. He retained the original client contracts and has since added many more to his customer list.
He has extensive logistical experience, moving items foreign and domestic, all with multi-million-pound price tags and is extremely qualified in all aspects of haulage and crane work. He keeps himself up to date on all the latest regulations.
So, you can be very sure that all due care will be taken when transporting your goods.
Jessica is the product of an upbringing spent in and out of her family’s construction company and from an early age became knowledgeable about all aspects of company administration. She is the other half of the business alongside James and is the one keeping the business moving forward with her excellent work ethic and passion to help others and try out her innovative ideas. She manages the financial aspects, regulatory matters, job orders and bookings as well as being the lead in marketing and communication with new prospective clients. She is no stranger to hard work.
For her current ‘day job’ Jessica is proud to have been a part of the NHS team with over 10 years’ experience. Currently as an experienced senior specialist nurse in the stressful environment of Oncology. She has gained massive life experience through the Covid Pandemic yet remains cheerful, committed and energetic to all aspects of her work with patients and their families.
Her passion for helping others is well known and she goes beyond the line of duty to make sure she provides the best service possible to those she cares for. Transferring those skills and passions into her work for J&J Hamilton Ltd and the transport industry means that you can take pride in knowing she will always want the best for you and look after you.
